Every finished sign receives this hands-on attention before it leaves our shop. We compare the completed work with the approved artwork and project specifications, verify the colors and dimensional details, inspect the background texture and edge finish, and make any final adjustments needed. The sign is then protected, packaged for its size and destination, and prepared for nationwide shipment from our Jasper, Georgia manufacturing shop. HDU signs are dimensional signs made from high-density urethane, a closed-cell exterior sign board that can be CNC routed, carved, textured, layered and painted.
Unlike natural wood, HDU has no grain direction, knots or hidden voids. That uniform structure helps us produce clean routed lettering, recessed backgrounds, raised borders, shaped panels and repeatable logo components. Properly specified HDU does not rot like wood and is widely used for entrance signs, monument faces, hanging signs, wall plaques, directional signs and dimensional business signage.
Urban Fresh Services manufactures custom HDU signs and components in Georgia, then packages and ships them nationwide. Sign shops may order raw or primed parts for in-house finishing, while commercial buyers may request fully finished work from approved artwork and color specifications.

HDU—high-density urethane—is a closed-cell sign board used for carved, routed and dimensional exterior signs. It accepts detailed machining, does not rot like wood and remains comparatively light for shipping and field handling. Those material advantages only matter when the artwork, toolpaths, reinforcement, edge preparation, coating system and packaging are matched to the actual installation. Our role is to turn the drawing into a practical, accurately manufactured component.

Urban Fresh Services uses 15-pound exterior-grade HDU for the majority of its sign production. It is dense enough to hold clean routed details and dimensional profiles while remaining practical for freight and field handling. Standardizing on one proven density also makes machining, priming and finishing more repeatable from job to job.
That does not mean every design can be treated the same. Thin letter strokes, oversized hanging signs, deep pockets, projecting elements and panels exposed to high wind may require design adjustments or embedded reinforcement. The quote review is where those questions should be resolved—before material is cut.
